Leonard’s personal belief is that photography is a passport, one that can open up new travel and career opportunities. Join him as he shares his experience of working on various photographic projects as a sideline on top of his regular day-time work.
In this talk, be prepared to see how diverse photography is, beyond the act of photo-taking itself. From there, you might just be able to discover a new niche to brand yourself!

SPEAKER
Leonard Goh, an avid photographer who advocates photography education, is one of the co-founders of Platform, a non-profit initiative to champion the cause of documentary photography in Singapore. Platform also subsequently launched TwentyFifteen, a collection of 20 books to celebrate Singapore’s Golden Jubilee.
He has previously worked for major camera companies such as Leica Camera and Olympus, and gained an insight of how things click behind the scene. On top of his full-time work, Leonard is also currently the editor for CAPA Asia, a photography magazine, as well as lecturing photography and digital imaging at M.A.D. and Ngee Ann Polytechnic’s School of Film and Media Studies.
